Like a boomerang, Wes went off to his new home, only to return to us. Originally, Wes’ mom took him for a service dog. He had the build for what she needed to provide stability when walking, and he was good at it too, giving her the ability to get around without needing a cane. For about a year and a half, Wes was her assistance dog. Sadly, Wes’ mom had other medical complications and is recovering in a nursing and rehabilitation facility. Our hope is that he will one day return to her. Until then, he will live with his Poodle mom, dad, grandma, brothers, and sisters…which suits him fine!
